Ar. Farahnaz Khadiza Chowdhury is an Assistant Professor and Academic Coordinator in the Department of Architecture at Bangladesh University. She holds a Master of Arts in Architecture (M. A. Arch) from Anhalt University of Applied Science, Germany, and a Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). Her professional background combines academic teaching, academic coordination, and architectural practice with experience in leading architectural practices.

Academic Experience

Ar. Farahnaz Khadiza Chowdhury has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture at Bangladesh University from September 2019 to July 2023 and again from January 2024 to the present. She previously served as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Architecture at State University of Bangladesh from February 2016 to September 2019. In her current role, she also serves as Academic Coordinator, contributing to the academic coordination and educational activities of the Department of Architecture.

Professional Practice

Alongside her academic career, Ar. Farahnaz Khadiza Chowdhury has developed substantial professional experience in architectural practice. She has been serving as a Senior Architect at DESIGN CIRCLE since September 2016. Earlier in her professional career, she worked as an Architect at SAIF UL HAQUE STHAPATI from June 2010 to May 2011 and completed an internship at BASHIRUL HAQUE AND ASSOCIATES from January to August 2009. Her combined experience in professional architectural practice and academia contributes to an integrated approach to architectural education and design.
