
Misbahul Sheikh
Lecturer
Misbahul Sheikh is a Part-time Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Bangladesh University (BU). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology (AUST). His academic and professional interests include software development, computer graphics, deep learning, cloud computing, DevOps, and modern web technologies.
Academic Experience
Misbahul Sheikh has been serving as a Part-time Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Bangladesh University since October 2025. He has also served as a Lecturer (Part-time) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Bangladesh University of Textiles, contributing to teaching and academic activities in computer science and engineering.
Professional Practice
Misbahul Sheikh completed a DevOps Internship at Business Automation Ltd. from February to July 2025, where he gained practical exposure to agile practices, AWS Cloud, CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. His technical expertise includes C, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, and SQL, along with graphics frameworks such as OpenGL, WebGL, and Three.js. He also has experience with deep learning tools including Keras, PyTorch, and TensorFlow, providing a strong technical foundation for software development, computer graphics, and AI-related applications.

Research Work
1. IoT-Driven Smart Office – IoT project with two-tier biometric authentication, gas detection, and a mobile app.
Hardware Used: ESP32, ESP32-Cam, R307 sensor, MQ2, Servo SG-90 etc.
2. Socioloom – Social media web application
Tools Used: HTML, CSS, React with TypeScript, Asp.NET, MySQL, Visual Studio Code, and Visual Studio 2022.
3. Popcorn Pulse – Online movie and concert ticket buying web application
Tools Used: HTML, CSS, PHP, Java-script, Visual Studio Code, Xampp (PhpMyAdmin) database.
4. Super Mario Bros. Recreate – Game project
Tools Used: i-Graphics, C++, and Visual Studio 2022.
5. Dr.OnCall – Android telemedicine application for buying medicine, and taking doctor appointments Tools Used: Java, Android 5.0 (Lollipop), SQLite database, Android Studio.
6. Airline Management System – Application for plane ticket booking
Tools Used: Java, java swing, Xampp (PhpMyAdmin) database, Netbeans.
