Md. Rifat-Uz-Zaman is a Lecturer & Coordinator in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Bangladesh University (BU). He holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Engineering from American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB). His academic and professional experience spans university teaching, academic coordination, software engineering, project development, and client communication.
Academic Experience
Md. Rifat-Uz-Zaman has been serving as a Lecturer & Coordinator in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Bangladesh University since September 27, 2023. His responsibilities include conducting classes, administering quizzes and attendance, preparing academic reports, and supporting students in understanding lessons and completing their academic tasks. Previously, he worked as a Teaching Assistant (Internship) at American International University-Bangladesh from September to December 2021, assisting faculty members with classes and reports while providing academic support to students.
Professional Practice
Before joining Bangladesh University, Md. Rifat-Uz-Zaman worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Chowdhury IT Solutions, Narayanganj, from January 10, 2022 to September 22, 2023. His responsibilities included project reporting, requirements analysis, software development, and maintaining effective communication between the company and its clients. His industry experience has complemented his academic background and strengthened his expertise in software development, project management, requirements analysis, and client coordination.
