Monika Mehjabeen Tisha is a business academic and professional with experience in business administration, higher education, and corporate practice. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Dhaka and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB). Her academic background, combined with professional experience in the corporate sector, enables her to bring practical perspectives into business education.

Academic Experience

Monika Mehjabeen Tisha has been serving as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration at Bangladesh University since July 2024. Prior to her current position, she served as a Lecturer in the same department from January 2020 to June 2024 and previously worked as a Part-Time Lecturer from September 2019 to December 2019.

Through her academic engagement, she contributes to business education, classroom teaching, student development, and academic activities. Her continued involvement in higher education reflects her commitment to creating an engaging learning environment and supporting students in developing their knowledge and practical understanding of business and management.

Professional Practice

Alongside her academic career, Monika Mehjabeen Tisha has gained valuable corporate experience. From May 2017 to May 2019, she worked as an Executive at Arena Developments Ltd., gaining professional exposure to organizational operations and business practices. Earlier, in 2017, she completed an internship at British American Tobacco Bangladesh, which provided her with early practical exposure to a structured corporate environment.
