
MS. Farjana Salam
Assistant Professor
Ms. Farjana Salam is an academic with extensive experience in business administration, finance, and higher education. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology. She also completed an MBA Exchange Program (Short & Sharp) as an Erasmus Mundus Scholar at Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey, and earned an MS in Disaster Management from the University of Dhaka. Her diverse academic background enables her to bring interdisciplinary perspectives to business and management education.
Academic Experience
Ms. Farjana Salam has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at Bangladesh University since 1 October 2018. Prior to her current position, she served as a Senior Lecturer from 1 February 2014 to 30 September 2018 and as a Lecturer from 1 March 2011 to 1 February 2014 in the same department.
With more than a decade of experience in higher education, she has contributed to business and finance education, classroom teaching, student development, and academic activities. Her academic journey reflects a strong commitment to teaching and the development of students’ analytical and professional capabilities, while her interdisciplinary training in disaster management further broadens her academic perspective.
