Today, Department of English organized a successful seminar on IELTS titled “IELTS: Your Academic Passport for Higher Study" at Bangladesh University.
The keynote speaker was Sayedul Abrar, a UK-qualified teacher (CELTA, DELTA) and IELTS Master Trainer from the British Council.
The seminar was graced by Chief Guest Mohammad Humayun Kabir, Professor and Head of the Department of English, BU, and chaired by Debdas Biswas, Assistant Professor, Department of English, BU. Discussants included Tanziri Jahan (Lecturer, Department of English, BU) and Md Muzahidul Islam Muhit (Student, 57th batch, Dept. of English, and Instructor,IELTS Professor) Department of English, BU).
The event was held at the BU Auditorium on June 30, 2025, and was open to all BU students.
