About Dept. of EEE
The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Bangladesh University is one of the prestigious departments of Bangladesh University which started its journey from March 2006. It welcomes students passing from both HSC and Diploma in engineering and awards B.Sc degree in Electrical and Electronic engineering after successful completion of 147 credit hours.
The department of EEE is currently being served by 15 highly competent faculty members comprising of 1 Professor, 3 Assistant Professors, 5 Senior Lecturers and 6 Lecturers with degrees from reputed home and foreign universities of varied backgrounds, strong research skill and professional expertise. To support undergraduate teaching and their final year research projects, the department has established several laboratories equipped with modern facilities.
The department of EEE currently holds over 250 students enrolled in the B.Sc. program. The department emphasizes on need oriented and technology based education, aiming to equip students to adapt the challenging demands of modern electrical and electronic industries. These enable the students to take on a broad range of challenges that they may encounter in their future career. Over the years, Bangladesh University has been contributing considerably to the competitive engineering field of the job market of the country.
